Professional activities

• Valeria practices in the field of private law, advising the clients and representing them in the court. Valeria has successfully advised corporate entities, including FinTech Companies, on the legal framework for attracting investment, cryptocurrency mining and blockchain technology. She has also provided legal assistance for several Initial Coin Offerings. Valeria has assessed the client’s business model compliance with regulatory requirements with a focus on identification, analyzation and evaluation of potential legal risks to mitigate them proactively. She has represented the clients in the Financial Intelligence Unit and in the Financial Supervision and Resolution Authority to obtain the authorizations for different economic activities such as for providing services of exchanging a virtual currency against a fiat currency, for providing a virtual currency wallet service and to operate as a payment institution.
